Greg diPiazza Performing Live on Maui

Maui Underground will be performing on Maui for the next few months while they're recordind a live DVD and CD in preparation for an extended tour on the mainland.
Maui Underground is a concept band with Greg diPiazza at the helm. Using samples and live musicians, Greg creates styles of music ranging from middle eastern to blues, Latin to jazz, and hip hop to funk. His 2009 release "MAUI UNDERGROUND 2" featured Paul Bunuan on Sax; Mark Johnston on Organ & Piano; Indio Kualii on drums; "Tato" Eduardo Melgar (from Uruguay) on congas; Dion Estas (original member of Wam) on bass; while Greg plays electric & acoustic guitars, harmonica, piano, & strings, as well as records, produces, and DJ's all the samples used on the CD.
When on Maui, Greg can be seen Mondays, Tuesdays, and Thursdays at Cheeseburgers in Paradise, and Wednesdays at the Pioneer Inn in Lahaina from 5 to 8pm. Catch him Saturdays and Sundays from 5 to 8pm on the Lahaina Princess cruise.
Greg is currently combining forces with Alana Cini, a master of the didgeridoo, and renowned DJ of the Alana Mana Radio Show on Manoa. Greg also does studio work with Steve Ferrone.
